Easter eggs decorations

When I was a kid, I was always happy when the day came each year to paint and decorate the Easter eggs. My mum would first boil them in egg paint and then we were sitting the three of us (my mum, my sister and me) and we were decorate them with paints all night long!It was lots of fun!
And when I became mum myself, I followed the tradition, painting the Easter eggs together with my son, when he was little :)
There are so many pretty decoration ideas I found on the net:
Sticker-and-Dye Egg Designs (from BHG)

To create these fun and funky designs, firmly adhere stickers around an undyed egg, pressing out any air bubbles. Dye the egg using an egg-dye kit. Allow to dry completely. Remove stickers to reveal your perfectly patterned egg!
Scrapbook Notions (from BHG)
Impress your kids (and grown-ups as well) with gorgeous eggs decorated from your scrapbooking stash. Trims, stickers, rub-ons, and gems can give an ordinary dyed egg extraordinary flair. You can even use stickers as masks before you dip the eggs in dye. Make sure your eggs are dry before you try to embellish them.
Pysanky Eggs (from BHG)
These eggs were decorated using Pysanky, the ancient Ukrainian folk art of wax-and-dye egg decorating. To create these designs, stick metal pins in pencil erasers, dip the pinheads in melted wax, and draw wax patterns on hard-boiled eggs before dyeing them.
Rubber Band as Easter Egg Decorator (from real simple)
Decorate eggs by positioning bands around them in a pattern before dipping them into the dye.

New Est challenge theme - Spring colour trends

Remember the European Street Team challenges? For those, who don't know it, for the last couple of years, every week (or every second week sometimes),the European Etsy Team has a challenge for the members to create something new, inspired by a special theme. One of my new year's resolutions was to participate every week in the challenge, but till now I only made it a few times! Last week I participated to the "Hills and Lakes" challenge hosted by Juanitatortilla with my mixed material necklace and won the challenge!!!! Thanks Juanita :))

So, this week I will be the hostess!
For this week let's all be inspired by the uplifting, energetic and exciting colours of the flowers, which are trendy this spring/summer:
Iris, Viola, Daffodil, Poppy! Beautiful and cheerful colours named by the flowers!

Get inspired by some gorgeous florals shown by the designers at Spring/Summer fashion shows:

Τake your dowry out of the trank! The new collection of Dolce & Gabanna for Summer 2011!

White is dominant in all summer collections. This year it is beautifully combined with gold!
The design duo at Dolce & Gabbana celebrated their quarter-century collection with a show done nearly all in white — and, according to Mr. Domenico and Mr. Stefano, they based it all on the items that would go in a bride's hope chest before she marries.
Bedspreads, tablecloths, and curtains transformed into the duo's familiar hourglass sheaths, sexy skirtsuits, baby-doll dresses, rompers, and not a few va-va-voom corsets. Out they came in broderie anglaise, what looked like antique hand-tatting and crochet.
This is my new bag, inspired by their collection:
